What is “Schematic Design”? The schematic design is the initial concept and design scheme that will define the general scope of the architectural program for a custom home project. A conceptual design usually consists drawings, sketches, and rough designs from the architect that includes scale and displays the relationships between building components. At the end of the schematic phase, the architect will provide developed concept that includes "BIM" (Building Information Modeling) plans to the owner for approval. These schematic designs provide guidance to the concept so the plans can meet the clients approval and develop in a design that will become the home of your dreams!
